Hi! I started 37.5 amps of Gonal F on Sunday evening. I had an RE appt today and showed 3 follies on the right side measuring 12,12 and 8 and a bunch of small ones. Left side a bunch of small ones. They said I may do HCG Fri with IUI on SAT and SUN. They seem to think that the follies may be 18 or more by Friday a.m. when I go in for my next u/s and blood work.

I am also doing Gonal-F- this is my first time.. I am on cd11 and just got back from the RE. After your post, I am wondering if I am normal. I have 2 follies at 15 and 14, they said I will do insemination probably on Monday. She also mentioned that mine were moving a little slow but looked good. I would say that yours are doing great! What cycle day are you on?

I am on cycle day 7. I have had a history of responding very well to Clomid but with no pregnancy results, therefore they felt I would react good to Gonal F. I would really rather do the insems on Monday and Tuesday... My Hubby has a Tee time on Sat & Sun!!!

What dosage ae you on?

I'll tell you that what I've learned is there is no 'normal' as far as these things go. When I did my first Gonal-F cycle, I responded with low dosages extremely quickly like you are. The second round I went even slower and the third even slower. They were all so different, you wouldn't believe it was the same person. I'd say you are lucky because the shorter the time on the meds the less money and the less needles http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif So enjoy and good luck on Friday.

I ALSO have had a history of responding to Clomid but no pregnancy! I was on 6 rounds of Clomid with no pregnancy and was recommended for Gonal-F and IUI. I am not sure what the problem could be- DH is fine, and I had an HSG- which came back normal. It is nice to know there is someone out there with similar difficulties.I have another appointment on Friday. Let me know how you are doing!!!

Thank you for your responses! I am hoping that things go well. I have another u/s tomorrow and the will tell me what the next step is. What kind of stinks is that my RE's office is not open on the weekend. So I would need to go to one of their other facilities downtown. WOW. There seems to be alot of us women with the same unexplained problem. I have an easier time handeling the unexplained like the Bermuda Triangle and the Black Hole and those kinda of things... BUT I want clear answers to why I am having these problems. At times I feel as if I am being tested or if someone is playing a cruel trick on me.

OK Now that I have brought everyone down.!! I have a GREAT feeling about this cycle!!! Maybe it's wishful thinking but something in my gut tells me this just may be the one! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/bouncing.gif
