Thanks lcsucr 06-12-2003, 08:25 AM Hey Boundi Fingers crossed for Sunday! It's no biggie, just a light anaesthetic and it seems like seconds later you're awake! No effects from the anaethetic and no soreness or discomfort as they generally take the eggs vaginally. I had to travel home by train to London a couple of hours after the procedure and was absolutely fine. Could've gone back into work the next day but decided to take it off as I was too nervous to wait fo the results at work! Hugs Clare xx tmerone 06-12-2003, 08:47 AM Hi Boundi, I have spoken to several people who said it was no big deal. You are only out for 15-30 mins and they had no pain at all! One woman actually went out to a bar to see a favorite band of hers play. She didn't drink but said she felt fine. She had a baby boy none months later!! Good luck!! Boundi 06-12-2003, 09:31 AM WOW!! It sounds sooo easy. That makes me feel alot better. I feel really sorry for dh. His testicular sperm extraction is done with general anesthesia. So he will be wide awake knowing the doctor is sifting through his sac. That has got to an ugly feeling. But I've been through alot too. Now is his turn. They will be making two incisions on him. I would hate to be awake for that. You know how men are when it comes to thier *alls. Thanks for everything guys. sunnytxgal 06-12-2003, 10:56 AM Hi Boundi! I guess everyone is different.
