Quick question... When is the BEST time to use the progestrone gel? I would think at night, but I don't want to assume anything these days.

I never had to use it yet but I did a lot of research and I've read that it is best at night to keep it up there. I am starting Prometrium my next cycle but I was prescribed the pills. Did you hear anything about taking pill vs. gel?

This is my first cycle using meds. I am on DAY 3 of Clomid. The progestrone gel is Prochieve. Do you or anyone else know if it has "side" effects?

You're right, it can be messy. I use the prochieve and I use it in the am. I tried it at night and there really wasn't a difference as far as the "mess". It does have some side effects though. Tiredness, irritability, decrease in libido, etc....
