I met the famous Mare today!! I was standing talking to the nurse and out she walked and we looked at each other and that was all she wrote! We started talking and the nurse was trying to get all my stuff done and so she just weighed, measured and did the rest with Mare next to me. I went into the room and Mare waited for me in the waiting room. When I was done I stood behind this cute little girl at the desk and sure enough there in her chart was an ultrasound- she's pregnant!! Later on in conversation, Mare asked me if she had seen her and sure enough we were both envious!!

Off we went to have a beer together. In case you are wondering, she is even funnier in person. She reminded me alot of my SIL who I am very fond of. We hung out chatting for awhile and then we had to go cause her DH called and I lied and told mine that we went to Starbucks together. I behaved and only had one beer!! I definitely could have stayed longer but I have a feeling we would have gotten in trouble together. BTW, no matter how bloated she tries to tell you she is, she is NOT!! Skinny little thing she is. Super great personality and I am glad we finally hooked up. We will definitely get together again. I just wish everyone on this board could do the same. It is nice to put a face to their postings! Have to run to the gym but will post my doctors report later! (depressing)

Mare- it was great to meet you finally and lets get together again! I will let you tell the stories about how the guys at the end of the bar thought they had struck gold finding two girls in a bar at 1 in the afternoon- damn pigs. How bout that big fat guy checking us out while wolfing down his buffalo wings-LOL. Bartender was a cutie though-huh??

Jeez, I thought DH would never leave for the gym. In my head I am like screaming "get out" so I could run up on the computer!! I am actually going to hit the beach around 9 tonight. It is so nice and quiet and my dog loves to go swimming at night and play with the horseshoe crabs!

Went and got my pap today and of course I came home and I am bleeding a little from that damn speculum! HSG tomorrow so my insides should be feeling great by tomorrow night. Dr. sat down with me and said he doesn't want to see me waste all my money on IVF and he thinks that my FSH is too high and he said I should consider donor eggs. I said IVFNJ has a good success rate and he said I am not trying to tell you what to do I am just being a friend. So now I am like WTF?? Mare and I talked about it and I figure I will try 1 go with the IVF and if my eggs are crap then I will have to shell out $20K more for donor. I guess I will never get my new car at this point! I am sort of bummed tonight because I have been trying to be so optimistic about this IVF and now my head is all f'd up again. I am so cranky tonight and DH is really bugging the crap out of me. I think I need a good night sleep and then I will see what tomorrow brings. Dr. did prescribe prozac http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif for me. I went off it 2 years ago when I started ttc and have been miserable ever since. I can't wait for this crap to kick in. I want to be happy and not obsess anymore.

Annie, after HSG I am going to get these white trash roots fixed but not until 6 so I have 2 hours to kill. Guess where my butt is going. Straight to annie sez. Poor dh I told him I need 1600 for hsg and then 120 for my hair. I guess I will use the old credit card for annie and then tell him tomorrow night I went shopping. I have to go grocery shopping tomorrow so I have to hit him up for 150. Poor guy just keeps shoveling it out. Have to go clean the dishes. I will be back on after dh falls asleep on the couch- he is so predictable.

I am sooooo glad that you two hooked up and had sooooo much fun! It would be just heaven to get together with you girls on a daily basis! I'd never stop laughing, I'd probably have to STRAP ON A DEPENDS! Tmer!!!!! I am so sorry you got the SAME DAMN NEWS AS ME!! It was a BLOW at first, it's settled in now, and I'm ready. My doc says if you do donor eggs, you don't have to be in a big hurry. If I do a IVF with my eggs, we have to do it next cycle. I only have 20K left, then I have to hit up in laws. I've already spent 7K on this SHAT! It's not a hard decision to make if you have a money tree in your backyard! Since I don't, I have to decide do IVF with mine and take A BIG RISK! Or, donor eggs and have a huge success rate of getting prego. If the donor IVF doesn't work (which my RE says I will get you preg with donor eggs) I will do the refund program which refunds me back 90% of the 20K. Then I can do it again. That's pretty damn good. I just don't know if I want to look into the eyes of my donor egg child and not see ANY PART OF ME! If I do donor eggs, I will have them transfer only the boy chromo's. At least the child would look like dh. It's a huge decision, I wish I had enough dough to do 1 IVF own eggs THEN go to donor...... MY INSURANCE SUX!!! MaryAnn - I don't think you will have a problem looking at that child. It will be a part of you, you will carry it for 9 months, your blood will be pump'n through it, it will be yours believe me. Also, just b/c you pull boy chromosomes doesn't mean it will look like DH! I know lots of guys that resemble their mom and not dad and girls that resemble dad and not mom. Just depends! I hope whatever you decide to do though works on the first try!

TAZ- I can have them next month if I want to donor IVF. My RE says we have 35 women downstairs ready to go!! I was like uh, ok...... I go to Pacific Fertility in San Francisco. They have women all ready to go. Unless I don't like any of their profiles then I will have to search for my own. I would look for the donor to be caucasian, blond hair, green or blue eyes. If they have a match great, if not then I'll have to pick from the other 35 they have. It just makes it easier for me to select a donor from their facility, they are all pre-screened, etc. . . I am really leaning toward donor egg. I just don't think, from what I hear that I have a very good chance of conceiving with my follies. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif
