Has anyone had this? What can be done to treat this?

I saw a new Podiatrist today and he will do an ultrasound next week to see what this lump is on the bottom of my foot.

My feet still continue to burn if I'm on them too much. Plus I've got lots of pain. Can't take antiinflammatory meds so I'm really stuck.

Did the POD say what it could be? Usually with a rupture it will start to get better as it is torn itself and that is what would happen if they did surgery. Good luck.

The doctor said that he will be doing an ultrasound to see what the bump is on the bottom of my foot. That's not scheduled until next week.

Well, I guess you could say it's better than 2 months ago but I've still got way too much pain daily.

Usually with a rupture you would see some initial redness or bruising in the area. It may also be a plantar fibromatosis.

Thanks jcpelly. I don't remember any bruising at all. In fact, I can't remember when I felt this lump on the bottom of my foot. I'll look up what fibromatosis is.
