Hey all,
I'm planning on trying out for basketball cheerleading, and it starts on Monday. I have a really bad ankle that's currently still healing from one of my many sprains. I have a great brace (DonJoy Velocity), but it's extremely bulky and can only fit into wide shoes...Well, the shoes that I would need to wear for cheerleading are quite narrow, so I need suggestions of braces that provide excellent support and mobility but aren't (too) bulky.
Thanks!

Take a look at the Bio Skin Trilok brace. Does a good job providing ankle stability for me, and fits inside my standard athletic shoe.

My ASO brace fits in all shoes and is fairly flexible.

I have a soft ASO brace that works well for me too. I don't know how well it would work for flexibility though. It laces up and has two straps that go under the foot and up to the side of the ankle.
It also fits in most athletic shoes that I've had.

Hmm...I need something fairly flexible so that I can point my toes and such when doing kicks.
