I would really like to ask for some help. I had the herpes test done 3 times. Twice with Labcorp, and the results came back positive for herpes 2. Then I also did a test with Herpes Select, and the results came back negative. Which should I believe. Both were the Igg test. I am really very upset about this. Also it has been 1.5 years, and I have no symptoms.

What was the timing between the tests?
Two positive and then a negative is pretty weird.
The Western Blot test done at the University of Washington is the 'gold standard' test for herpes. As long as you have not had new sexual partners in between all this testing, then I would do the WB and go from there. Your doctor can draw the blood and there is special procedure to get it to Washington. Your doctor can call and find out the specifics.
