i used dr. george brennan of newport beach who is a quack
and screwed up my nose by putting in a medpor implant. i now need it removed. i also have a very difficult time breathing. i am thinking about dr. nassif. i heard dr. nassif is pretty amazing. i also heard dr. gunther is very good but would prefer to stay local. i saw dr.daniels who suggested dr. gunther. anyone used either one? whatever you do steer clear of that ding bat dr. brennan...

Hello.
I have been searching through various boards for information and reviews on Dr. Jacono, but I cannot find any. Has anyone had surgery with him or personally knows anyone who has? I have found websites that say great things about him, but I want to hear from his patients. If anyone has any info please let me know. thank you.
Nirvana09, as for your interest with Dr. Nassif, I have heard good things about him too. But, it depends on your particular needs. I personally don't like the way he reconstructs the nasal tips. Some criticism that i've read about him is that he's relatively new in this field of revision rhinoplasty and that he's overpriced for his work.

I have heard that Nassif is amazing, as well. Also, Frankel. I had a strait bridge and went to Dr. F, Cerritos. I am now looking to reconstruct bridge/repair saddleback deformity, etc. I have been to many specialists. For major work, check out the great pics on Frankel's site. Good luck.

Saddle nose sounds like your nose might need major work.
The heavy hitters for rhinoplasty use rib cartilage to reconstruct noses. There are only a few names of doctors who are supposedly pretty good at rib. The best surgeons at rib are Dean Toriumi (located in Chicago- kinda far from you), Anil Shah (also in Chicago), Jack Gunther (Dallas Tx) and Richard Davis (Miami). I think John Hilinski (San Diego) is supposed to be right up there as well and he is not too far from your part of the country.
