I believe I have genital warts. I have some small warts on the head of my penis and some pain inside my urethra. Also I have some warts on my anus that bleed sometimes. I also think I may have some on my gums but I may be wrong. I feel embarassed about this, could the stress cause me to feel sick? I want to get professional help but I dont know where to start. What kind of doctor should I see?
Also can HPV cause sinus problems. I have severe sinus and inner ear problems not caused by bacterial infections. Thanks.

A family physcian or general practicioner is a great place to start.

i dont think the sinuses are related to HPV.
I would definitely get your warts treated. I would just go to a regular doctor, they could start you on some treatment.
you can get them in your mouth, if you were exposed through oral sex. At least thats what my dr. told me.

Thanks for the replies. Has anyone ever heard of HPV infection in the sinuses or sinus cavities? Is it even possible. Because I have severe sinus problems and no doctor is able to help me. They assume its a bacterial infection until they find out antibiotics dont work at all and bacterial cultures come back negative.

I had read that there are 3 types of Papillomas (wart like growths) that can occur in the sinuses and nose, but genital warts are different strains of HPV just as ones are that you develop on hands, etc. You would have to have a doctor determine whether or not you have them. I'd recommend an Ear/Nose/Throat doctor for that issue if it continues but as Pickle Eyes said a family physician or general practitioner would be a good start.

OK that would be so weird, because I started having bad sinus problems in the last year and I wonder if that is at all any way related to HPV??? How bizare. I actually have an appt. with an ENT next week, I will have to ask them! I'll let you guys know what they say.
Wow, I will be actually kinda PO'ed if it is wart like growths in my sinuses... I've been on allergy meds, nose sprays, anti biotics.... and I haven't had many answers either.
