my one year old is shedding his cradle cap. Last night I put baby oil on his head for the first time before his bath. I usually use a cradle cap shampoo but didn't seem to work. Now tonight his head is bright red like sunburn around the cradle cap, not directly on it. I can tell he is very uncomfortable, crabby, and cant stop scratching his head. Is it an allergic reaction to the baby oil or just a stage of cradle cap shedding. Any thing for relief? Thank you
