I had surgery on my left foot for a Morton's Neuroma 24 years ago and haven't had a single problem. I had the same surgery on my right foot 2 1/2 years ago and while it felt better, the problem wasn't solved. I've had to deal with two stress fractures in the foot in that time, but thought I was on the mend. About an hour a go, though, I stood up and a terrible pain shot through my third and fourth toes, reminiscent of burning and tingling I was feeling - only multiplied by a few hundred. It still hasn't gone away completely. There isn't any swelling or discoloration, thankfully, but it sure does hurt. Any ideas?

Thanks!

Well, could be a stress fracture or a "stump" neuroma...where the neuroma grows back. I'd head back to the surgeon for a look see.
