what is the difference between mg. and mcg.? if i needed to take 1,000 mg.s of something and they only sold it by mcg. how much do i take?

1 mg=1000mcg

2.5mg=2500mcg

5mg=5000mcg

You would have to take a million mcg's to equal a thousand mg's.
