Hey all,
I'm new here and finding the info very helpful and interesting!
I've got primarily IBS D which is sometimes intermittant with IBS C.
My question is: I've read a lot about bowel movements relieving nausea and abdominal pain, but does anyone here experience pain and nausea after bowel movements?
I usually have a sharp pain just before I need to go, and then right after bowel movements some relief of pain, but then about 15 minutes afterwards I get really bad dull pains in my abdomen and often really bad nausea as well. It can last for 1-2 hours and sometimes just the whole day.
Anyone else having trouble with this?!

After a bad bout, I often have a very. very achy, almost itchy feeling throughout my whole lower body. Like I've been kicked repeatedly. I don't get nausea so much. I find it helps to sit on a heated blanket, wrapped up and around my stomach and back for a few hours.
