Im a 17 year old male, about 5'5 tad under maybe. . I went to the doctor last week and i weighed 118 pounds. I eat fast food alot. Maybe 3 -4 times a week. sometimes more, sometimes less. today for example went to mcdonalds after school had a 10 piece nugget, large fries, and a medium coke. Then 4 hours later around 8 p.m. i went to taco bell ate a 1/2 pound burrito and a thing of small potatoes with nacho cheese. I weighed myself this morning and im about 124 - 125. Two summers ago i was 110 going into summer, came out around 128. Lost 10 pounds in 3 months before winter. Should I be ready to hit 140 this winter? i do not believe winter plays a part in this though, just my eating habits. I am a noticing a difference around my thighs / *** and my gut is bloated more often. And i have urge to eat whenever i am not completely full. Opinions? Thanks

Sure, 140 lbs. is not out of the question if you keep eating fast (processed) foods. Obesity is not something that happens all at once. You gain some, lose some and then gain more and more over a long period of time. And it all boils down to poor eating habits. In my opinion, it will be much easyer to make some changes now and prevent the weight gain, rather than gaining a lot of weight and trying to fight obesity later. Some people, once they become obese, never win that fight.

I would recommend that you don't eat anymore fast food. And try not to eat highly processed foods at home. That means staying away from items like baked goods that contain white flour and sugar. Stay away from snacks like potato chips, corn chips and candy. Stay away from pizza which is high in saturated fat, sodium and white flour.
