THEY ARE THE EXACT SAME MEDICATION AND PATCH- JUST 1/3 THE PRICE!!

edited: disallowed

My Dr was amazed as he didnt even know!

I hope that you will trust the Pharmacist..I had to find this out on my own and i am so thankful for finding out this information. I am sick to think of ALL that money that was spent for the exact same medication.
i have had allergic reactions to other brands , but looking at the package contents myself I saw the proof

I went from Duragesic to Mylan and went through some of the worst withdrawal symptoms a person could go through. I didn't attribute the vomiting and sweats to the Mylan patches, but my PM did! So, I briefly went back to the Duragesic and started using the Sandoz when they were available. Going from Duragesic to the Sandoz was not even noticable! Yes, they are made by the same lab, and the printing on the patch looks identical.

The Mylan are constructed differently and function through the medication being mixed within the adhesive. The other forms of the patch have medication reservoirs that gently "soak in" over a period of time. The doctor explained this to me, as well as the paperwork inside each box explains.

Changing to Mylan is definitely worth a discussion with your doctor!

Sincerely,

Welcome to Healthboards Tiggs.

Just in case you didnt notice, this thread is over 3 years old. I am not even using the patch anymore.

Not quite sure what your post meant because of the "Edited: Disallowed" part. Anyway, welcome to pain management.
