I dont think you'd know if you did, it would be hard to find out too because usually after you have a seizure you are really tired... Mmm this may be worth looking into, Ive always wondered myself!

I only suffer nocturnal seizures.I know i have had one because i wake up sweating,my legs feel like lead, majority of the time i have bitten my tongue and also i have a scary thought.I couldn't tell u now what that thought is but i know when i get them that they are the same thought every time.VERY hard to explain!
I hope this help's with your curiosity!

You probably wouldn't feel the seizure if you're sleeping. I know I had one in my sleep a while ago when I woke up in the morning with a fat lip. I must have sucked my lower lip into my mouth and clenched my upper lip on it. It never bled but I had a blood blister there and it was sore and swollen. My husband tells me that I talk in my sleep sometimes. That could be a seizure too. I've also been having seizures and auras upon wakening. I lose my short term memory and know I've had one and then I can feel the teeth mark on the inside of the lower lip where I've clenched down on it again.
