Im 19 years old and i have a duodenum ulcer, I want to know the seriousness of my situation, all the doctor's i've seen make it seem like not a big deal, I'm currently taking a daily pill called Rabeprazole (an acid blocker)

My problem is, I still get ulcer pains and I've gotten used to them, But once again im 19, I work my week for the weekend and then I party pretty hard with friends, I drink heavily on fridays and saturdays and I smoke when I drink. My doctor told me I "shouldn't" Be drinking or smoking, she said smoking is worse and drinking is totally up to me If i'm willing to let the ulcer heal very slowly...

I know I'm pretty stupid to be treating my body the way i have been, Im aware my decision to party on aren't smart, But I would like to know Am I actually putting myself at risk? Is it dangerous to be consuming alcohol weekly with a duodenum ulcer?
