It's definately going to dry it out but it's not going to help fade spots. It will help some because it will peel old skin and get you to develop newer skin. It will help with the texture of it.

It will help with oily skin, but not with faded spots. Faded spots, you might want to try Ascorbic Acid or AHA. Recently, i've heard Tranexamic Acid is also very good.
