I feel best when FLYING. Seems that when pressure in the plane and cabin has leveled out, I feel better there than anywhere. Guess it's the up, up and away thing away from THE ELEMENTS !

I can drag, crawl in tears to the airport, but once I'm in flight, I get better immediately. Anyone else noticed this ?

When and where do you feel best ?

I feel best when I am in a warm water pool or hot tub. It takes the pressure off of the muscles and joints and soothes them!

Oh yes.......totally forgot that one. I water walk WHEN I CAN and get in the hot tub afterwards, it's like going to heaven.

Don't know if you know about this one or not, but when I'm dying with cramps and spasms, I put 2 bottles of peroxide and one carton of Epsom Salts in the water and soak. I can't explain how it works (other than it has minerals such as magnesium) in it, but it works every time. I try to do it before I go to bed so I can GO WITH IT....the relaxation and relief. Sometimes in the afternoon before I take my afternoon rest.

It pulls toxins out and it really does help. SOAKING in the tub made me think of it.

When I'm away from home, I don't have a very understanding husband. I feel the best when I'm back in the midwest visiting my family.

Hot water does feel good, with a candle lit and Josh Groban singing on a CD.

The peroxide and epsom salt thing sounds interesting. Where did you hear about that treatment? What does the peroxide do? Whatever works.

Read it on a fibro board years ago. Have been using it since then......like you say: whatever works.

If you try it, let me know how it does you ? :) TODAY will be one of those days for me. Our barometer is out the ceiling.......like 30.58 which is unheard of since I've been watching it......so I'm TOTALLY DISABLED, even typing is extremely hard, so I'll HUSH !

Forgot: perioxide and epsom salts as I said: draws out toxins, but also has magnesium in it, something we need for cramps with fibro.

TRY IT.....YOU'LL LIKE IT :)

I feel the best in the shower. And getting away from the valley and going to the Oregon Coast...less pollution in the air? No stress....it's my favorite.
But I noticed that I feel better when I am there.

I understand the water makes us feel better because of the IONS. Have any you ever studied that ?

Snickers,

If I remember right when I worked in a swimming pool place years ago, there was chlorine and a peroxide based pool product for keeping water clean. But there were a few people that had an ion thing on their pool filter and they were expensive. But they never had to shock their pools, so over time they saved on chemical costs. As with the ion room filters it sort of makes the bad stuff fall and collect in the filters.

Haven't tried the peroxide and epsom bath yet. Thank heavens for dollar stores. It makes me a bit nervous though. Since I had bladder cancer a few years ago I really have to be careful of what I put in the bathwater, it doesn't take much to give me irritations and infections.........being scoped hurts. But I'll try it soon. Thanks.

Hugs to you,
DeBeachSiren
