Hi all:
I tried a TENS unit about 1.5 years ago. It was a rental from my pain doc. I was an idiot and did not follow the directions. I cranked it to full for an hour. I couldn't move for 2 weeks.

Anyhow I want to try again. I would like to buy one. Websites sell them for as little as $39. I just want it for my headaches. Anybody love their TENS and use it for headaches? Thx in advance, matt3507

Matt,

I recently received my tens unit and have had it for a few weeks. It has helped with the lumbar nerve pain and the muscle spasms in my legs.

I've never tried it for a headache.

My tens unit goes to 60, in order to get continuous releif, its on all day as the PM recommended.I keep it about a 9 on both sides.

I'd be leary at buying it from an independent web site, have you talked to your DRs. about another trial period?

I was just given a TENS to try over the weekend, with very little instruction. I have a herniated disc in my lower back, but the pain is most intense in my left leg and foot. You said you get good relief. Do you place the electrodes on your back (the source of the problem), or on the area that hurts the most?
