Hi Ya'll! I have been thinking and praying for each and every one of you.
I have had a very challenging pregnancy so far and am already 3 1/2 months! It seems like yesterday I was taking those freakin injections!
When I was almost 3 months pregnant, I had a hemmorage and was in the emergency room for 5 hours in the middle of the night. The emergency Dr. told us we would miscarry in 2 to 3 days. We were devastated.
(I was in between fertility and OB doctors.) I called the OB Dr. on call the next day (even though I hadn't been to their office yet) and he didn't sound worried at all. He said that was really comman and not to worry. I had an appointment with my OB the next day and the bleeding was no where near the placenta like the ER had said. The baby is fine. The hemmorage did cause a 4 cm blood clot which is dissolving right now, so I have been spotting for the last week and a half, but it is brown blood, which is good.
I just wanted to let each and every one of you not to give up hope. I had a successful IVF and if it happened to me, it can happen to you.
Baby Dust to you all!

Sunny, I am so glad that you and your little one are OK. That must have been so scary. Its ironic (or is it?) that I had the same thing happen to me. I hemorraghed and went to the ER, and found out that I had a blood clot outside of the placenta. I spotted brown blood for about 8 weeks with it in total, and had two relapses where I "broke open the scab" and bled red blood for a couple of days. One time I had even gone two weeks without any spotting, and then I took the dogs for a walk, and wam - red blood for two days. My point here - TAKE IT EASY!!!!! My OB told me that even though it was just a blood clot, there was still risk, and I was on limited activity until my 18th week in total. Take care of yourself and your little one. Wondering if this has anything to do with the injections we were taking? Wierd, isn't it? I also had uterine surgery in November, could have been from that??? Anyway, thanks for the update http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Jody,
I am so glad you replied! You are the first one I thought of when this happened. I feel much better knowing someone else went through the same thing and everything is OK. I was getting concerned about spotting so long, (almost 2 weeks) but since you spotted for 8 weeks, I'm not going to worry about it.
You actually made my day, Jody. I have been so scared. I go in every week to check the baby's heartbeat. It is such a relief when I hear it.
Thank you so much for taking the time to reply and good luck to you.
