I believe it when you say you are not imagining your problems. Keep going, you'll eventually work this out - I believe in you.

Thanks Kirstee x.... it would be easier if a cause could be found and dealt with but l guess thats not the case with fibro! The rheumy l seen doesnt believe/or does not like to label anyone with fibromyalgia he preffered to call it chronic pain syndrome! Never mind take care x

hey girlfriend,
chronic pain syndrome is just the old name for fibro. doctors can be silly. i am delighted your tests came back clean. you get a cartwheel for that.
believe me you don't want anything else. i live with multiple health stuff. i was bummed the first time the blood work showed thyroid, then rheumatoid arthritis, then i forget who came next.
so, yea i understand how you feel. fibro does not give you a proof in the blood or any other test, mri, scans, etc. yet, i am so happy you have healthy blood.
peace,
blue

Its annoying when noone will commit to this illness! Take care of yourselves girls xxx

hey kiddo,
my cartwheels may look funny now but i figure if i can get my feet and fanny in the air without falling on my face i get a 10. giggle.
in a sense your doctor did validate you. he just used old fashioned wording without realizing he is using the old term for what is currently called fibro. one day they may change the name of what we have again. do we care? i don't. as long as they listen with an open mind we are cool.
glad you got so much done. it does feel good to ache and be able to see the reason why. for me this time of year it is painting. not the walls. giggle. abstract art on recycled wood instead of canvas. it takes me away from pain and makes the pain i feel later worth it.
go to your mirror and thank your beautiful body for being as healthy as she is. bless her.
peace,
blue

Hi Blue, I know that you know a whole lot about fibromyagia. But i beg to differ---fibro is not the same as chronic myofascial pain. When people believe they are the same, they tend to just accept that fibro is untreatable and give up. People w/o fibro get cmp.

hi rose,
not chronic myofacial pain girlfriend, i have that too. i said "chronic pain syndrome", the old fashioned name used before they thought of fibromyalgia. alot of us here also have cmp and yea, they sure are different. from manifestation to treatment. i quite agree with you on that! giggle.
peace,
blue
