I am in the 2WW and after 3 years of DH asking me to go to Sturgis, I decided to go this year. We are driving up and then just riding into Sturgis. Now that I think about it, if I were PG, could that be harmful? If implantation were occuring, could that jolt it? It sounds like a dumb question but I don't want to risk anything but don't want to disappoint DH either. I have NEVER ridden on his motorcycle in the 3 years he has had it so I feel like I owe this trip to him. If we just take it easy do you think I should worry? We are just going for 2 days.

Yeah Sammy, go for it! There were things I didn't want to do in my 2ww and then it was negative & I regreted it afterward... you should be just fine, it will help you to take you mind of things...when are you testing? I can add you to the list... Enjoy! Sarka

I think the motorcycle ride should be OK, I have not stopped riding during any of my 2WW's - just be prepared, though, cuz Sturgis is kind of wild and you might not get a lot of rest. My DH will be there next week, but I don't go on trips that long (this year's Sturgis trip about 5 thousand miles cuz they're going to a lot of places on the way - left last weekend!) Enjoy and take a camera!!

Thanks for the vote of confidence! It is a looong ride up there so luckly we (I) are wimping out and driving the Exped. and pulling the bike! I have heard it is wild with "lots to see". Don't look for me on one of thos videos! HEE HEE I guess I need to go buy some "sturgis worthy clothes"! I will let you know how it went and hopefully I will not be able to do things like that very soon!!

No - it's in Sturgis, South Dakota - little tiny town that bikers started going to years ago. It's pretty heavy on the Harley's but not exclusively so. But definitely wild and interesting - I just look at the pictures and hear the stories, haven't actually made it there yet - DH just loves to ride - so it's a good excuse for him to take realllllly long ride

We have a Sturgis here in Michigan and they do the motorcycle thing too. I guess it can get pretty wild there as well and I think the majority of bikers that go there are Harley owners.
