Sarka, thanks for asking. I didn't even need to test because AF came today (and in spite of the progesterone supplements). I'm so down, especially because this last cycle was really trying (Because I started to overstimulate, RE brought me in for daily b/w and u/s for one solid week). It doesn't help that I'm about to turn 40 in August. I really wanted to pregnant by my birthday. Oh well, I guess everyone on this board knows that life doesn't always work out exactly how we planned.
Now DH and I have to decide what to do next. We're thinking about IVF, but the cost is so high. DH wants to try a natural cycle, which did work for us once, although it ended in a m/c.

Taz, on that note, I just wanted to say how sorry I am about your m/c. Mine was in May and it was so devastating. I'm thinking about you.

Thanks to you Sarka, and to all of you for your support. Hoping for BFP's for all of you!!!

Amyttc, I am so sorry to know that your AF came, I know how hurt it must be. Even I am only in my 5dpiui I don't have a very positive feeling for me too, seems like we tried everything but nothing works. I feel so hopeless sometime. But being in this board, and know someone else can, make me strong. So, I hope you will feel better tomorrow, and no matter what decision you and your DH make, all of us will be here support you and praying for you.

best wishes.
Lynn

Amy I'm so sorry to hear that the nasty AF showed up. It is very much unfair as we try to stay positive, take tablets and injections, put with lots of... just to get BFN... I wish that all this was more affordable, so we could just 'get on with it'.

My thoughts are with you today Amy, I decided to go to this holy place in Bangkok I was told it has some special powers so will be praying for you and the rest of the girls.

But don't give up yet... I really want that for you & your DH to happen... if you can, go for IVF, some insurance companies help out I think...

I'm sending you (((HUG))) and hope that you will feel better soon, The best of luck, Sarka http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

Amy,

I'm so sorry about AF - you're right this is unbelievably frustrating - sometimes it just doesn't make sense, especially if things seemed to go well, why in the world doesn't it just work!

Even if you do IVF, if you take a little break it might be a nice relief. It sounds like you've been through a lot over the last few months - I wish there was more I could say or do to make you feel better http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/frown.gif

Just know we are all here for you whenever you need to 'chat'

Take care http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/heart.gif

Thanks so much to all of you for your support. I really think it's hard for people who haven't been through it to know what this can be like. It can become such a huge focus in your life. So when that BFN comes up, you're just...crushed. Anyway, your thoughts are really appreciated.

It looks like DH and I will go natural this cycle, just to take a break. Besides, my RE said that after last month when I started to get hyperstimulated, it's probable that I have too many cysts to do anything this cycle anyway.
Sending ++++ thoughts to you all!
Amy

Amy, my thoughts are with you... sometimes it's good to have a break and have a drug free month full of sex! http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/dance.gif

Relax and enjoy the break before going back to the madness of it all... hope you are feeling better...

Good luck, Sarka
