Hey yall! Question - is it safe to take Zoloft while ttc or do you have to take a break from ttc while on it??? I am having panic attacks, can't sleep, and have been extremely depressed for quite some time. Also, does your reg. physician or infertility specialist prescribe this??? Don't know who to call. Need some info. Thanks!!!

Ashley, I too suffer from anxiety attacks. My RE says it is ok to take zoloft even when your pregnant. I am getting ready to do IVF and they gave me a perscription for zoloft to start prior to my treatment. Others on this site have also used it and found it helpful.

Hey Teener! Which dr prescribed it for you? My Infertiliy specialist knows about my anxiety and depression but has not offered it to me - I am getting ready to demand it but do not know which dr I am supposed to ask. Let me know and thanks for your reply!!! Baby dust to all!

Ashley I got it from my fertility dr. But my reg internal medicine dr would of also given it to me. Ask your fertility dr. Mine said they give it to lots of girls. Good luck.

Hey Sarka!!! Thanks for thinkin of me! I am back after a much needed break from EVERYTHING!!! We will do another IUI within the next 3 weeks. I will keep yal posted. Not looking forward to being back on meds but my optimism is back somewhat and I think I am ready to get back on this awful rollercoaster!! How are you??? I have been gone for sooooo long and hope everything is going well for you! Been checking on JLJ and am glad she is going to attempt another ZIFT. We love you JLJ!!!! Ashley- Good luck with RE. Let me know if you get the zoloft and how it goes. I have my sript but have not filled it yet. I am waiting till closer to my IVF. I will start IVF around Sept 1st. Since I feel ok right now I was going to wait until I got closer too treatment. Let me know how it goes.
