My son is 16 months old, and has recently started putting his fingers in his mouth and biting on his nails... He doesn't actually bite the nail off... but he tries... His father is a nail biter, and I'm wondering if anyone else has encountered it. I just thought it was kinda strange, he seems too small to know how to bite his nails, and I surely don't want him to start that habit b/c its nasty! Any suggestions? Or has anyones else heard of this?
