My husband and I have been ttc for 8 months. I have a regular 28 day cycle - it's like clockwork! Today is day 24 and I have this strange dark, brownish bleed of quite thin consistency. It started this morning and is not very heavy. No other symptoms. I never start my period early.
Has anyone else had implantation symptoms like this?
I hope it's not just a freak early period for the first time ever!! That would be just plain cruel.

I think it could be possible to be having inplantation bleeding. I have not ever experienced it, so I'm not real sure. However if it is implantation, you should get a +HPT in the next few days. Is it heavy enough to wear a pad or just enough to wear a panty liner? Sorry if TMI, just trying to get an idea here. I have heard of several women that experience this, and you are at the point that it usually happeneds. So basically anything is possible right now. Let me know what else happeneds, I am curious myself!! Take care hon, and if it will make you feel better then by all means call your doc. I am all for doing things to make you feel better!!!

When I had my implantation bleeding it was bright red bleeding. I though I was going to mc. I don't think that implantation bleeding is usually brownish colour, because that's an indication of older blood. But, on the other hand, if you are pregnant, brownish blood is a good sign, bright red isn't. I would ask your doc.
I'm sorry I guess I didn't really give you any helpful info. http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Thanks for your answers.
It is light enough just to wear a pantyliner. Today is the second day and it is even lighter than yesterday. Very strange. I have to try and be patient and only test on my due day. It's really hard!

Hi Wen30!
I had no implantation bleeding, but my sister did and I think she said it was brownish and then it stopped that's when she realized it just wasn't coming and tested few days later and is now in her 6h month http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif
I'm sure it's very hard... quite nerve wracking... I had a blood test done at RE's clinic and had to wait for 7 hours... I was so restless and couldn't do anything just to look at the clock.
Good luck http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/t_up.gif Wen & let us know1
