Hi, everyone,
I can totally relate to how you all feel. I have fibro along with myofascial pain, tmj, reactive hypoglycemia (terrible one), tachycardia, and many other things too. I leave the house very little anymore, it is just too difficult. I never know if I will get dizzy or light headed or the pain will start to double me over or maybe my heart will go crazy as it does sometimes with the tachycardia.
It is so nice to have a place here to come and talk. Sometimes I feel like the only one in the world like this, I am glad to know that I am not.
Does anyone else have tachycardia? I don't know whether it is from myofascial pain or hypoglycemia or something else.
mmee

Thanks for listening everyone.

charlenef,
Thanks so much for letting me know that. Mine does the same thing with the stopping and starting and it does seem to get worse when something aggrivates my upper back.
I am so glad not to be alone with this.
Thanks,
mmee

Hi, everyone,
Does anyone else have tachycardia? I don't know whether it is from myofascial pain or hypoglycemia or something else.

I don't have a diagnosis to confirm this, but I developed tachycardia/arrythmias around 2005 and never knew why. I mentioned before in another thread that this brought on asthma-like symptoms (inability to breathe, inflammation in airways, etc). I also have severe hypoglycemia at times, and I do notice a correlation between the tachycardia and the hypoglycemia.

A quick example -- sometimes I will pass out from the hypoglycemia. While I'm in LaLaLand (aka FibroFogVille), I'm neither conscious or unconscious, but I can definitely feel my heart racing. Not like its pumping, but like somebody is squeezing it in the palm of their hand, like they were trying to squish it like a grape.

It is most certainly a discomforting feeling, not so much because of the discomfort itself, but because it makes me think my heart could stop at any moment.

In your case, I can't confirm whether it would be myofascial or hypoglycemia related, but just sharing what I've experienced.
