not sure why ?? she's doesnt sleep through the night regularly but this fussing every few minutes and thrashing around in her bed is really out of hand.

she doesnt want milk or snack or hugs. clean diaper, not hot or cold or any visible discomfort. she is just miserable. she has lots of teeth and when she lets me, i give her some tylenol or motrin.

not sure what is going on ??

help please !!
we're all black and blue....and sad....

Hi meluca

Remember me? From the August 2007 board. Congrats on the pregnancy by the way. I wish you and your family all the best.

As for the getting up regularly has his molars come in? That I bet would be what is wrong. Does the tylonel or motrin help when you give it to her? Daunte is not sleeping well at all. He is getting a bunch of teeth right now.

I hope that you are doing well. I miss talking with you ladies. Other than the sleeping issues how are things going?

Hi ladies!

And yes Meluca, CONGRATS! How far along are you now?

Grace has been doing the same thing!!!!! It is driving me nuts! I really think it is teeth. She only has 5 at the moment and it has been awhile since the last one came in. She stops crying and is fine once I give her a teething tablet, but then she wants to get up and play. There are nights when I am up for 2 hours at a time with her.

hi ladies !!!
thanks for you replies !!!
i'm 28 weeks along now ... yikes... i'm due feb. 23, when dd will be 18 months.

well, i realized that anna had diaper rash, but still she has been sleeping terribly and she's still sleeping with us ! it's been very hard.

so today we decided to try the cio method for her nap in her crib. she cried for 45 mins and then slept for 1.15 mins. she is waking up right now, so ciao !!!

we will try this again tonight in her crib. it's so hard, but ultimately i think it will be worth it. nothing else we can do ??

xo,

I hope that things work out for you. I myself can't do the cio. But that is my own personal chioce. With Daunte he hates his crib and playpen. So I am going to try and put a mattress on the floor in his room and see if that works. I find that he sleeps the best when he is on the little couch. He will sleep nice and long on that but never in his crib.

Things must be getting so busy around your house. Wait until you have them both running around. Do you know what you are having?

Something is defintely bothering her when she sleeps, and it very well could be teeth. You might want to take her to the doctor to make sure her ears are OK as well. When children lay down, the blood flow to their head can add pressure to their face, teeth, ears, etc. If she is constantly waking, she is in pain of some sort. Does the tylenol help when you give it to her? I mean, does she sleep better?
