I ( have never smoked ) have had my right lung removed because of Bronchioalveolar Carcinoma cancer about 9 cm. The tissue samples taken during surgery did not show any cancer cells. The Dr. that did surgery said that the lung on the out side looked and good as any lung he had seen. The cancer dr. that he sent me to thinks I shoud have strong chemotherapy, (Cisplatin). He could not say that my changes was better with Chemo but felt strongly that I should take the treatments. Shoul I take Chemo?

My ex mother in law is taking chemo treatments for lung cancer. She smokes to this day. The dr. says it's decreased about 25%. I think this is a personal choice, but I'd try anything to medically help myself. Chemo is hard on the body, you know that right?
