Hi,

My mom had it. She had to take low dose steroids for 1 yr...she is fine. The main thing is to get to the doctor and take care of it before it gets worse...My mom hates taking pills but sometimes you have to to get better :) She had alot of fatigue with it too.

Hope this helps,

Marsha

Snickers did you go to your Dr. regarding this? ( I know that I am responding to a post that is from a while back.)
I am having symptoms that I feel could be GAC. What symptoms did you have that made you feel that it could be that?

Thanks Snickers.

My mom had it too. if you have any questions, fire away.
if it is caught in time, meds will work.

The neuro checked my sed rate and said it was ok....however, I believe it has to be in full bloom so to speak for the sed rate to show up. Mine gets better, then worse, then almost goes aways and starts all over again. The barometer affects it just like everything else.

It hurts over my eye, up through my head ( I can trace it with my finger, it's raised and very painful) it hurts in my cheeks, down my neck and near my eye. It's a MEAN pain. Sometimes it hurts to lay on that side of my head it is so bad and TENDER. IT is either that or Trigemenial Neuralgia or severe TMJ.

You really might want to read about TRIGEMINAL. It's a buggar too.

Hopes this helps some.
