I've been to so many dr's and they don't know what to do with me. They just keep changing my meds. If things don't get better I don't know what I'm going to do. I need help.

I have, too. Have you ever been hospitalized? Manic depression is not easy to diagnose (average accurate diagnosis for bipolar persons is 8 yrs). Have any meds helped at all? What are your symptoms? Irritable, anxious? Klonopin help you at all? I've been on all meds the past 22 yrs and still don't have much relief. I've had many side effects to meds. Do you have any family members that support? Hang in there.

I know it's frustrating, but try to hang in there. Eventually you will find the med combo that works for you.
Good luck!

Seulmont,
I know it's very very hard, but you have to keep trying and working at it, for the past 10 months I have been working with my pdoc, seeing him every 2-3 weeks and seeing my tdoc every week, changing meds trying to find the right combo, sometimes they work for a bit, then it stops, then we find another, then it stops...I think after 10 months we might have finally hit the cocktail that works, and i'm keeping my fingers, toes, and ears crossed, but there's no guarantee.
So don't give up, keep trying.
