Hi everyone, My husband just picked up my MRI results of the thoracic spine. I'm not sure what to think. Dr. hasn't called me yet.
Here it is: On long TR imaging, there is a small linear focus of increased signal intensity within the central portion of the cord, possibly representing dilation of the central canal. This appears to extend down to the tip of the conus. There is no evidence of cord compression. The conus appears in normal position.
Impression: ?Mile Prominence. this is only seen on sagittal images and may be within normal limits. Unsure.
What does this all mean and why does the radiologist not give an explanation of what he thinks it is. I hate when they leave things "open ended" with no answers.
I look forward to anyone providing me with help. I'v been having leg trouble, weakness, overall not feeling well. I do have Chiari, which I've known about.
