Hi all,

I am sodium-sensitive, and retain fluid when I eat anything salty. I always try to avoid salty foods, but recently I began taking a potassium supplement (chelated potassium gluconate, 595 mgs) in an effort to counter the fluid retention a bit, but I have noticed that shortly after I take the potassium supplement my fingers swell up just as if I've eaten a bag of Doritos. I haven't been able to find anything online that links potassium supplements to fluid retention, so I'm wondering if anyone here has heard of this before? Thanks.
