Hello people,
I think I have IBS and right now it's a big problem and I don't know what too do.

For almost eight months I have had small stomach aches and constipation on and off. It's been very annoying but my mum whose a nurse doesn't think it necessary to go to a doctor. I have much more gass and it hurts, but the pain always goes away when I go to the bathroom.

Now for the last few days, since I had constipation I took two laxative pills and after that I've had weird dhiarea. I'm pooping water! Only water! Sometimes it's (excuse my gross words, but I don't know how to describe othervise) poop in there, but mostly just water. (No blood, and no fever though)

I took some Immodium and I thought it was all over, because a whole day I was free but then it started again on the evening, and after another Immodium tablet, it has gone back to normal.

What should I do? I'm a Swedish exchange student in England, do I have too go to a doctor? Will this weird diarea go away if I change my food? I don't know what to do.
