I have a "clinical" dx for lyme for all the stuff that has been going on in my body. The worst is I get deep deep burning stabbing pains mainly in random toes, ankles, and fingers. I also get a numb pointer finger on and off, vibrating/tingling left foor on and off, muscle twithches and EXTREME joint cracking. This has been going on for 6 months. I had an MRI of head and full spine, EMG and boat loads of blood work. These pains hit and go but I feel like they are getting more intense, I literally want to scream when they hit-feels like someone is putting a hot poker in me.
What else aside from lyme causes these problems? Again, my dx was clinical not just based on labs.

just what were the findings of that full MRI? do you have your own copy of your MRI report in your possession? if not,you really need to obtain one,and also any other testing results too just for your own records. when it comes to mostly specialists, they will not always even tell you everything(even really significant findings)that do pop up in the summary, justwhat 'they feel' is pertinent. depending upon just how much overall experience and knowledge your doc has having to do with some particular finding would dictate what he 'feels' is imporant enough to tell you. trust me,been there had it done to me and many other people have stated the very same thing about a particular finding that was there,in their report, but never actually told them about. pretty sad but unfortuently true. this is the main reason i get my own copies of ALL testing results, just so I know i have been told everything in that report and not just bits and pieces. if you do actually have your report, could you post what was found in the summary at the very end of your report? this is where all the hard findings are listed or mentioned. there could be something there. marcia

Yes I have the report and even the slides. It just reads milde ddd noted in mid thoracic spine consisting of disc dehydration and anterior spondylosis. No cord abnormality, no spondylolistheseis of compression. No focal protrusion.....
