Hey there,
So I've been posting here and there for the last couple months about my intrusive thoughts. I've been struggling with thoughts about killing my girlfriend, and i'm still going at it. I started meds known as citaprolam, which is generic for celexa about a month ago. I've felt better, and i dont ruminate about it anymore, but now i cannot come to grips with any thoughts about it. I can't convince myself anything. I can't actually tell myself whether I want to do it or not want to. I cannot figure out what the heck my mind wants. I can't really tell myself anything. I don't know if anyone has similar thoughts but any advice as to "HOW" you actually get better would be WONDERFUL. I can't make sense of how I'm supposed to get better and that makes it very difficult for me.

Hey~ I have been taking the same med for 3 yrs. Some of my symptoms have intensified recently and wonder if I need something different? Do you take the maximum amount? Take care.

Well, I've been taking 80mg, I'm not sure what the maximum amount is. How much do you take? Me and my psychiatrist have talked about moving up to 100mg, or even supplementing the citiprolam with another low dose medication. If the meds have worked for you for that long, you're body clearly responds well to it. It's very possible that you have also built up a tolerance to it as well. In your case, I would just discuss options with a psychiatrist. Best reguards friend.
