My friend has had severe pain for the past 6 months. The pain is only on the left side of his body. From constant headaches to fatigue, not one doctor can figure out what he has. They say it might be something with the nerves. They have ruled out ms, yet he has most if not all symptoms.

The pain is about an 8 on a daily basis, with pain management its about a constant 4-7.. depending on the day.

now his left testicle is in pain. The pain has traveled through his body. he has pain when he is just sitting or moving.

They have suggested rls (restless leg syndrome) yet the meds are not working.

He has been to a urolgist (he is awaiting the ultrasound results), neurologist, primary and many many other doctors.

Does anyone have any suggestions what this might be? it is very frustating and to see him in pain and continuing to travel from dr. to dr. is painful for me to watch.

If this is not ms, could it be on the spectrum and does it come with testicular pain?

please help!

Thanks,
Dm

I am getting over severe pain in my left leg. I used a heating pad on the strongest point of pain. This helped me considerably. Fortunately I have not had any testicular pain.

The heating pad took over 2 months of use. I am about 95% healed of the pain (for now).
Your friend might try cold compresses or even time in a tepid swimming pool.

Your friend probably has Lyme Disease. The symptoms are identical (and I mean identical...) my own. The key is that the pain is on one side only, and seems to migrate. I will bet that he will respond rapidly to a course of doxycyline.
