I've visited this site everyday since I joined Nov. 23 and appreciate your support as well as feel a desire to reach out to everyone in need. I've noticed that when someone posts, that thread is moved to the top. If you have started a thread but don't get the replies you seek, post a reply to your own thread and move it to the top asking for support and/or advice. I am a single parent with 2 girls so my nights can be lonely. I look forward to a kind ear before bed. Thank you all.

Yeah, I get kind of lonely at nights too sometimes. I recently graduated college and moved to a new city so I don't know too many people here; atleast not like I did back home. Are your kids still pretty young?

My girls are 3 and 11. They keep me plenty busy but I crave another adult. Congratulations on your degree! Where is back home?

I am from Tennessee but live in Atlanta now. I like it here but it has taken me a while to build up a good base of friends, especially when most of the people I work with are older.

That would be hard...you sound optimistic about meeting friends. I feel I've met you at a time that would be helpful to both of us:) I'm not shy when I meet someone for the first time (in person) but I start to get more uncomfortable when they start to get to know me better. It's almost as if I have something to hide or am ashamed of. Any insight into that? I look forward to hearing from you....
