Hello ladies. Just a quick question, maybe some of you can help me out with. I was supposed to get my period wednesday. Had cramps, and spotted tuesday a little bit, spotted a little bit wednesday and thursday, and now it is friday and nothing. I have this icky cold, that I started to get wednesday(stratchy throat). Today I am very congested and thinking about taking something to help me feel better. I am an elementary teacher and need lots of energy! Anyway, I was just wondering if anyone out there has ever had your period delayed with having a cold. any info would be appreciated~thanks

Having a cold when your period is due isnt going to delay it. You see about the only way to delay a period is to delay ovulation so if you were sick around the time you ovulated then that could have delayed things and hence delay your period.
Read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler. She talks in detail on things that can delay ovulation and hence delay your period.
