We just found out that my husband's regular doc suspects he has retrograde ejaculation. he is diabetic and there is rarely any ejaculate present at orgasm, although he feels an orgasm and feels what he thinks is the sperm coming out. it rarely does. he has pain while urinating afterward and his urine is cloudy. from all the descriptions I've read, this sounds like retrograde ejaculation.
We want to see a specialist. How do we proceed? Is it hopeless for us to ever have a baby?

Thanks,
Alicia

Hey Alicia,
Welcome! I don't know much about retrograde ejaculation at all but i just read something recently in a book of my DH's about the dangers of many common anti-depressants. Retrograde ejaculation is a common but unreported side effect of antidepressants. The drug companies are not forthcoming about this being a side effect. I don't know if your husband has taken any drugs for depression but I thought I would mention it. You can probably do a search for this problem on the internet for more information. I hope someone else can give you more info.
