What a great board with tons of support. I am throughly impressed with what I have seen, as I have been "lurking" for a while. Just a little history on me...married 10 years to high school sweetie...TTC 9 years (hate doctors...ok maybe just a little afraid of what they may find) so until this year, didn't pursue it. Took on the attitude that if it was meant to be, it would happen. Well, finally threw that attitude in the trash, got a new one, and pursued it after almost losing my husband to an military accident..guess it put everything into perspective. Doctor told me progesterone was border line low, so put me on 50mg Clomid (she said she didn't feel I was O ing). U/S was normal, FSH was high, everything else short of HSG was done and turned out normal. DH was fine too, I think he is still grinning from ear to ear...male egos! At any rate...OPK showed little eggie yesterday, so I am assuming I O'ed. My question....my sides felt really sore, right by my hip bones on both sides (really bad yesterday, a little today). Is this an effect of the Clomid? Normal? I really felt like my ovaries would hit the floor, it hurt so bad. 2WW wait now...tick...tick...and I'm not getting any younger! Sorry this is so long!

You have to remember that OPKs only detect the LH surge which occurs about two days before you actually ovulate. An LH surge doesnt mean you will actually O though. In other words dont solely rely on the OPKs.
You mgith also want to read the book Taking Charge Of Your Fertility by Toni Weschler if you havent already.
