so lately, as in almost everyday for a while now, i have been getting headaches with dizzyness and nausea. i always need to lay down during this time...its so annoying. i have migraine meds but stopped using them a while ago bc they didnt help. i sometimes wonder if this could somehow be some sp szs or related to e in someway. if anyone has any insight or experiences that would be great! thanks.

It could mean maybe you need to go back on your migraine meds! Or perhaps see a neurologist about getting a new migraine med, like Topamax or Imitrex? Do you have epilepsy? Nausea, dizziness aren't necessarily signs of a simple partial seizure. Migraines...yes!

yes i do have e...tc, absence, and sp. and migraines as well. i was given relpax to take when i have a migraine but it doesnt seem to help at all so thats why i was curious if if was an sp or something. and actually i am on topamax(and depakote) for my szs, i guess it is not helping with regards to migraines either...idk, so confusing. haha

When I had my first tonic-clonic the aura I got was exactly like a migraine. I thought I was going to have a migraine...Dizzy, headache, felt sick & struggled walking & talking, got numb down my arm, exactly how I normally feel when Im having a migraine & then I collapsed & had a seizure so it could well of been a seizure that you were having. I'd have a talk with your neuro if I were you.
xx
