I am a little over 2 months post nissen and still trying to figure out what to eat. When I keep meals small, swallowing most things goes well, but I am not able to eat at work because eating causes too much gas and diarrhea. I am starting to worry about my nutrition. I have been trying to stick to lean protein like fish and the right kinds of fruits and vegetables. Does anyone have any other ideas or is this something to just wait out because it will get better with more time?

You could look into a meal replacement powder. A product like this is a complete food and supplies the nutritional (and, usually, but depending on the powder, fiber) equivalent of a meal. You usually can add it to juices (and ice) to make a smoothie-type drink. I have found a great powder that I use (plus it's hypoallergenic so I don't have to worry about additional gas or other issues due to unresolved food allergies).
