I know this is a stupid question. I am supposed to take my hcg injection and the medicine says take in the muscle but I thought the nurse told me it was a subqutaneous injection. How does everyone else take it?? Thanks

Thanks Sponsor rachellara 09-11-2003, 11:37 AM You should definitely check with your nurse. There are two kinds of hcg injection. One (the generic version I believe) is intramuscular. But I've also taken one called Ovidrel that was subcutaneous. Best to check with your doctor's office and make sure they know which type you have. MaryT123 09-11-2003, 04:39 PM I have had to give myself a few HCG's with my IUI and IVF and they were all subqutaneous (under skin)- you can tell by the length of the needle.. check with you nurse though...good luck! |
