I finished Provera 8 days ago and have no signs of AF. My RE wants me to repeat blood test to check Progesterone levels and preg test. If it's neg then I will have to take Provera again :( Has this happened to anyone out there? I'm really anxious for AF's arrival and departure so I could schedule my procedure to unblock my left tube.
Any comments would be appreciated. Please pray for AF to come soon! I never thought I'd be looking forward to her arrival! Just want this procedure done so I could move on.

I think it took a week for me once.
Good luck. Nothing worse than the frustration of having that old bat AF NOT show up.

I am surprised your RE didnt tell you that it can take up to ten days after you stop the Provera for AF to show up. In most cases it happens between 3 to 10 days but it can take longer sometimes.
With me the first time I had to use it I had AF show up three days after I stopped takingit. The next time however it took 11 days for AF to show. I called my doc on day 10 and she told me to give it couple more days to see what would happen. Well she was right.

There shoudl have been a little leafet that came with your prescription that explains how many days it could take. Or you can call your pharmacy and ask them about the time frame.

Thanks for responding ladies. RE told me it would take between 2-7 days. I took Provera last month & AF arrived the day after I took my last pill. Go figure...I'll keep my fingers crossed that she'll show up within the next couple days. Glad to know it can take up to 10/11 days.
