My name is Mandy, I am 23 and have been married for three years now and my husband and I are trying for #1. I have pcos and have been on clomid 1 month. I oed on the first dose! What are some symptoms of you girls who take clomid? Does anyone have tender breasts during the month. I have every day since i oed! Can't wait to meet all of you!

hello ladybug. iwas on clomid about a year ago for about 2 cycles and had to quit taking it due to a surgery i had to have i dont remember having any symptoms at all.it did make me o alot better every month..i just had a hsg scan done today and luckly everything was great so i am also going on to start my clomid with my next cycle..due to my dh sperm count is really low we will probley due the clomid for a cycle or 2 and then end up doing the iui. well good luck to you.stacey

I too am on Clomid and also have PCOS. My doc has me on Glucophage/metformin for the PCOS. I finally O'd last cycle, but unfortunately not preggers. Side effects from the Clomid that I get are hot flashes, headaches, crankiness, and like you after I O'd last month my BBs hurt right away. So maybe is a Clomid side effect, not sure. I didn't have too many symptoms when I was on 50 mg, but now I am on 150 mg. Good luck to you and DH, hope you get a BFP soon http://www.healthboards.com/ubb/smile.gif

Welcome to a very supportive board here! There seem to be some positive results coming in here lately so let's hope you (and me *crossing fingers*) will be next on the list.

I've taken two cycles of Clomid and both times I felt tender nipples and cramping shortly after ovulation. I'm not sure if this is normal for everyone, but it seems to be for me! Hope this helps! Good luck!

HEY MANDY JUST GOT YOUR REPLY.. YES I HAVE I CHILD HE WILL BE 12 THE FIRST OF OCTOBER.I HAVE JUST RECENTLY GOT MARRIED WELL IN AUGUST OF 2002 AND MY DH HAS DECIDED HE WANTS CHILDREN OF HIS OWN. HE IS REALLY GOOD WITH MY BOY THOUGH SO I HOPE EVERYTHING WORKS OUT FOR US.. EVERY THING WAS FINE WITH ME BUT UNFORTANATLLY HE HAS A LOW SPERM COUNT..WRITE BACK, STACEY

Thanks for all the replys! I am starting my 2nd cycle of clomid. I quess I am lucky the first month worked for me on 50 mg. I am hoping I get pregnant this month I have waited so long to see that + sign!! All the symptoms I had from the clomid was hot flashes!!!!!, cramps,mood swings, and very sensitive breasts!! Well I am excited about getting to know all of ya!
