My daughter having a constipation problem over a period of six months.
A barium anema test was done and the doctor said that her colon is longer than usual and she will continue with this problem. Her age is just 2y and 4m.
She is on lactaluse for last six months.
Are their any solution to this?

As one who has had many bowel problems, are those the exact word he used? Too large a colon? Please post a little more info. If it is megacolon, it is allmost always' a genetic disorder, and was born that way.You need to know if the bowel is lacking nerve cells. Let's say they are. Then the only way to fix it is by removing that portion of the bowel It is not so scary. Please let me know how you are doing.
