Whenever I masturbate, a short time after, a muscle behind me scrotum starts to hurt sharply. It's happened for as long as I can remember and I've always assumed it was due to strain. The pain can occur even after the first ejaculation, but usually goes away within a few hours. It doesn't always happen, but there's usually a high chance.

I'm 18 and I don't have any health issues that I can think of. Took me a little time to figure out what exactly to call it, but the muscle that becomes in pain is apparently called the 'bulbospongiosus'?

Can anyone tell me if this is normal or not, or if it's even fixable?

It is not normal if it happens all the time. You can ask a doctor about it.

Well, it doesn't happen too often. Though it has often enough in the past for me to remember it. It's most likely to happen if I try to masturbate more than once in a day.

I believe that area is called the perenium. I've also had those pains right after ejaculating and sometimes even after urinating. It is a very sharp pain, almost like some one has stabbed you with a pointy object. I had to stand still and could not move for a while.

I'm 45 years old and I've also been diagnosed with Prostititus and from what I've read, I think that has something to do with it but I'm not too sure. I'm having a cystoscopy procedure done on me next week maybe that will tell.
