my 3 year son had a sore in hi mouth cause my other son had herpesin mouth , but i didnt take the 3 year old to the doctor. I take the other one to the doctor, 3yare old lips is redcrack blester he said it hurt, could the other one get it back frome the 3 year old. The sorehas gone but the lips left red and an its gone 3 weeks now. An aldult suck a candy from the 3 year old could they get it if there is no sore in the mouth although the lip is still red ?. And could an adult catch it from children i am worried if i catch by contact of saliva although 3 weeks pass?

first of all, you can not pass herpes through saliva. it is only skin to skin contact. as far as the redness on the lip, it's impossible to tell if the child is still shedding the virus. if the 3-year-old complains about his lip, you should go to the drug store and buy medication for cold sores to help relieve the pain. secondly, you obviously have a lot of questions about this. you should ask the child's doctor these questions since we are just people who have it, not doctors!
